I spent a little time watching this goose by the water and managed to catch a few different moments.
First, it had plenty to say. Then it settled down for a preen and a quiet paddle.
A little later came the big wing stretch.
Nothing particularly dramatic — just one of those nice moments when you stop for a while and watch what’s happening around you.
